Finally I have an internet connection and am back to the city where I live. I hope to post more often and take up drawing too. Here is a beautiful painting and wonderful quotes.
How did the rose ever open its petals and give to this world all of its beauty?
It felt the encouragement of light on its being, otherwise we all remain too frightened.

We're supposed to love one another and we're supposed to work together to make the experience better.
That's all the religion you need, really, to make a success of this planet...
Lovely painting Ruby. And I agree that love should be universal religion. Best Regards Ram
ReplyDeleteLove the subtle colors in this painting. We all need the light of others to help us bloom.
ReplyDeleteA most beautiful post filled with lovely words and a stunning delicate painting.
ReplyDeleteRuby- thank you for this lovely post that feeds my soul. I am grateful for your light in my life.

ReplyDeleteI agree with you on this one. That is all the religion you need.
ReplyDeleteRuby, the Beatles reckoned that "All You Need is Love". That's nice but I think not totally practical. What do you think?- Dave

Dave, I think "All you need is love" might be taken to mean that when you find real love, then nothing seems impossible and you can achieve anything inspite of all odds because you have your heart's desire with you :))
ReplyDeleteThanks dear friends for your lovely comments!
ReplyDeleteHello, Ruby.
ReplyDeleteYour exquisite work leads my impression.
The passion for the art. It is universal.

That loving feeling, and I am in love your paintings.
ReplyDeleteThe white magnolias in the painting a re very beautiful Ruby.
ReplyDeleteMy dear Ruby,
ReplyDeleteGreat and beautiful ART work!! Very Impressive. Yes, love is the only living thing that cannot die at the doorsteps of death (smile). We were created to love....sadly, many forget this.
Dear Ruby, I forgot to tell you earlier about my monthly collaboration challenge over at my other blog Lovers' Cove. You write a line of 15 words or less, but your line has to continue on in thought from the previous person in the Linky. You might like to join us. Come see here...
ReplyDeleteHi again Ruby. You are probably right - Dave
ReplyDeleteNicely written - both the rose and "religion".
ReplyDeleteIf we loved one another instead of ourselves and had consideration the world would, as you say, be a much better place. It is a great sadness that there is so much hate in the world.
