Sunflower

My first attempt at shading. Hope you like it!

The picture was taken with a mobile camera.

Ah Sun-flower, weary of time,
Who countest the steps of the sun:
Seeking after that sweet golden clime
Where the traveller's journey is done.

Where the Youth pined away with desire,
And the pale virgin shrouded in snow:
Arise from their graves, and aspire,
Where my Sun-flower wishes to go!

-William Blake

  5. I especially like the heart of your sunflower where I see a sort of eye, and also the reflect. Your drawing full of delicacy is well according to th poem. Enjoy a nice week, Ruby!
