Merry Christmas!!!

Christmas is in the Air!

Let the true spirit of Christmas
Of kindness and mercy
Love and joy
Light and Happiness
Enter your lives
And for ever lie
In the beats of your heart.
Merry Christmas!

And I would like to share with all my lovely friends in the blogland, the optimistic section of the Christmas poem "Christmas Bells" by H.W.Longfellow.


I heard the bells on Christmas Day
Their old, familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet
The words repeat
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!

And thought how, as the day had come,
The belfries of all Christendom
Had rolled along
The unbroken song
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!

Till, ringing, singing on its way
The world revolved from night to day,
A voice, a chime,
A chant sublime
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!

    Suldog - Yes, he wrote it after he lost his son in the Civil War. Its always a wonder how beautiful things are created from an artist's pain and tragedy.
