Hindu Gods

Hurray!!! I am very excited to say i have 100 followers!! :)  Thanks dear friends for your kind comments and for enriching my life with your interesting, beautiful posts.

Below are the drawings of Hindu Gods. I hope you like them.

Lord Ganesha - Remover of Obstacles

Lord Krishna - Protector

I must say I'm not satisfied with the scanned image of Lord Krishna, maybe I will post a picture (DSLR) sometime soon. The blogger interface, not cool at all if that was what they were aiming for - could have had a bit of colour and a easy accessible interface.

  6. Congrats on a 100 followers. Can get really busy with more followers.
You can switch back the to the old interface but I think sooner or later the old one won't be available. I've looked at the new one quite a while ago and don't like it.

  9. Hi Ruby!
    Congratulations on your 101 Follower!!

Today is a holiday in Portugal, but it’s the worst winter day we had since last October... As grey as if we were living in Northern Europe... So, the only right thing to do is surfing the Net... ;)

Blogtrotter Two is now in St. Kitts and Nevis... Enjoy and have a great week!!!

  11. Whilst I am familiar with Lord Krishna, Lord Ganesha is new to me as a name and I was surprised to learn that he is considered one of the most well known of deities. I've now learned quite a bit more about the two. I particularly like the simplicity of your representation of Lord Ganesha.

  13. Thanks friends!!

GB, yes he is very important in Hindu religion. It is believed that Lord Ganesha removes all obstacles and people always begin any event or festival with a prayer offering to this God!

Trotter, the pictures in your blog are awesome!!

  14. Congrats Ruby on your 100 followers. I think your Krishna Bhagwan is lovely. It captured the cheeky young Krishna Bhagwan very well.
