Robin

Write me how many notes there be
In the new Robin’s ecstasy
Among astonished boughs

Emily Dickinson

My source - http://birdsfod.blogspot.in/ Thanks Bob. :)

I took this picture of my drawing with mobile. Maybe I will repost it once I bring my Nikon here. Any suggestions about posting my drawings other than as mobile photos??  I haven't tried scanning yet.

  2. Great work! If a mobile camera is all you have, then I'm sure that's the best you can do. Scanning is great, but takes a while. I'm liking your blog and following now.

  5. Um... Six?

Well, you asked me how many notes. That's my best guess.

  6. We have a bird called a robin but it's not a robin. The first white guys who came thought it looked like a robin from England. It's actually a thrush.

  7. Nicely done Ruby. I'd try photographing it with your Nikon and see if you're happier with the results.

  10. Nothing will of course ever be as good as the original, but why don't you try the Nikon and the scanning ... and compare, or let US compare? Nice drawing anyhow! :-)

  14. Le rossignol est l'un des mes oiseaux préférés. Celui-ci est très bien interprété. Il est si vivant qu''on à l'impression de l'entendre chanter.
    Bravo.

  17. Hi Ruby,

Firstly it is a beautiful drawing of the robin and your quality of your phone for this picture is quite good. He comes in at least very nice about it.

    Love, Helma
