Happy New Year

Dear all,

Wishing everyone in the blogland and the universe a very happy new year.
I hope to cherish the things that bring joy and people who have always been there for me no matter what and would like to forget and kick aside the toxic aspects of my life.

The Swing - Jean-Honore-Fragonard

I hope we remember the monumental struggle that our past generations have had to endure in their everyday lives, to achieve the current level of independence, freedom and equality.
Every little bit of untruth, corruption, indecent or inhumane action, though it appears very meagre and simply a minor misdeed to our eyes has a significant impact in our collective lives and sets us back several years.
Let us remind ourselves that it is never a waste to act honorably, truthfully with dignity, being mindful of our speech and respect one another (humans, our furry friends and all living beings)  the way we ourselves would like to be treated.

Happy New Year 2018!!!

  3. Such a nice post. I'm afraid I often don't reach such lofty and commendable ideals. Thank you for reminding me to keep trying, though.

  4. Thank you for your wishes and your visit to Ruby.
I have also been away from the blog for a long time. My dear grandson Jahnay died on October 31, 2017 at the age of 5. He was run over by a big Dodge and I still have a lot of grief.
I do have a psot about him on my blog on the right at the top.

I hope everything goes well with you.

    Regards, Helma
